G20 LIVE Updates: Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia to meet PM Modi at Hyderabad house today

Vistara has adviced its customers travelling from Bengaluru on September 11 to allow more time for their journey to the airport as the private transport associations have called a bandh. "Due to the 'Bengaluru Bandh' on September 11, 2023, private transport might be disrupted. Customers travelling from Bangalore are advised to allow more time for their journey to the airport," Vistara posted on social media platform X.

Hundreds of private vehicles including autos, taxis, and corporate buses could stay off the roads of Bengaluru on September 11, making commuting tough for school students and office-goers, among others, as the Federation of the Karnataka State Private Transport Associations has called for a ‘bandh’. Several reports mentioned that some schools in the city have declared a holiday on September to avoid inconvenience to students.
Also, the Bengaluru traffic police has issued a traffic advisory for the public to plan accordingly after Karnataka State Private Vehicles Owner Association’s call for ‘Bengaluru Bandh’ on September 11.

This visit marks his second State Visit to India, with his previous visit occurring in February 2019. The Crown Prince's arrival in India coincided with the announcement of a historic agreement involving India, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the European Union to launch a mega India-Middle East-Europe shipping and railway connectivity corridor.

Following his attendance at the G20 Summit, Saudi Prince is on a three-day visit to India.He is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House. Before the meeting, he will receive a ceremonial reception at Rastrapati Bhawan in New Delhi. Following the meeting, the Crown Prince is expected to sign the minutes of the first meeting of the India-Saudi Strategic Partnership Council. He will also meet President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhawan before departing from New Delhi.
